This album hits home for me in many ways. The entire premise of the phrase "Wins and Losses" is something I can relate to. Having your back against the wall like Meek did during the entire situation with Drake - many would have folded. Instead, he did what any talented artist would do at a time like that; let the music speak for him. As artists we sometimes try to cover up our imperfections instead of leaning into them and putting them on display for the world to see. Tracks like "1942 Flows,” "We Ball,” and "These Scars" paint pictures that help motivate me to get up no matter how many times this music shit makes me want to give up.
